Wisconsin real estate practice changes effective August 17, 2024
As a result of the National Association of Realtors (NAR) proposed settlement agreement to resolve nationwide claims brought by Holmes sellers, NAR has agreed to make two practice changes.
- The Multiple Listing Service( MLS) will no longer be able to offer compensation to cooperating firms via MLS.
- Firms working with buyers need a written agreement before touring a home with a buyer.
